Southern Magic is a collaborative concept between Emiree' Sexton and Salim Osei, built around representing the South within the art and fashion space which has been overlooked. This is an effort to tell that story, in a way that speaks to a wider audience without losing its roots.
For our first drop, we introduced a reversible bomber as the centerpiece. elevated with a plaid trim that nods to southern heritage, with the interior carrying that same language.

Jason's Lyric, Doug McHenry(1994)

Alongside the bomber, a belt featuring stills from Jason’s Lyric, a film shot in Houston in the ‘90s. It’s one of the few films that captures Black southern life. The beauty and the struggle, and one of even fewer set in this city. We felt it was the right visual language to anchor this project.
Everything here is about repackaging something real and familiar into garments that can hold their own in a broader conversation about craft and culture.
